The 5th HU The Institute for D&I & National Institute of Special Needs Education Joint Seminar
“Education for Children with Learning Disabilities and Learning Difficulties”

UniversityAccording to MEXT (2022), the percentage of students identified as having significant difficulties in learning orbehavior is 8.8% in elementary and junior high schoolsand 2.2% in high schools. Globally, 5% to 30% of students inregular classrooms experience learning difficulties (Farrell,2023; Westwood, 2013).

The aim of this conference is to share current, research-based information on the education of children withlearning disabilities and/or difficulties, with school-teachers, university students, university faculty, and otherinterested persons.
